Notre Dame Catholic Primary School - History

In April 1970, the former Notre Dame Convent was bought by the Diocese.

On 8th September 1970, Notre Dame School was annexed to St Peter's School.
In 1973, Notre Dame School was enlarged, and would shortly be a Voluntary Aided Primary School for 210 pupils aged 5-11 years.
On 13th June 1975, Bishop Henderson officially opened Notre Dame School.
In 2000, Notre Dame School is created a "Beacon School"
